"Speak to my heart - write through my hands"
This is the lifelong desire of Jeaninne Stokes, inspirational Christian author, poet, speaker and educator.
Jeaninne answered the call to write for ministry and publication in 2002. After stepping away from her career to pursue a career as a professional Christian writer, she founded her own writing and bible-teaching ministry with the mission to: " inspire, equip and empower others to grow and mature in their faith and knowledge of Jesus Christ." (Ephesians 4:12,13)
Jeaninne lives out her calling as a Christian writer and bible-teacher in a variety of ways. As a writer, she has published three books: Living by Faith: A Collection of Inspirational Poetry, Lessons from the Wilderness: Beginning, preparing for and surviving the journey to write for publication, and Baileyisms: Inspirational Quips and Quotes for living the Christian life. She currently writes three blogs: Inspiration for living, Inspiration for Mothers and a social commentary blog called Sharing my perspective.
Beside her love of writing and teaching God's word, Jeaninne is passionate about helping aspiring authors answer their call to write for ministry and publication. She accomplishes this by teaching workshops and seminars to help aspiring Christian authors learn how to write and publish. She also provides author coaching.
Jeaninne is a graduate of the University of North Texas and Texas Christian University and holds a degree in Business and Education, respectively. Her future goals include completing a Masters in Theology degree. She and her husband James attend Concord Church in Dallas, Texas, where she has served for over thirty years in a number of roles which include serving as a Sunday School teacher, Orientation teacher, marital enrichment teacher and currently as a grow group leader. Jeaninne and her husband are the parents of two young adult children.
