Their responsibility is to equip God’s people to do his work and build up the church, the body of Christ. Are you ready to live your life by faith? That’s the inspiring message of Jeaninne Stokes, Christian author, poet, educator and Bible teacher. Jeaninne has been a Christian for over thirty years and enjoys teaching the Bible to inspire, equip, empower, and encourage others to help them grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ.
As the founder of JStokes Writing Ministries, she lives out her calling as a writer and bible-teacher in a variety of ways. As a writer, Jeaninne has published three books: Living by Faith: A Collection of Inspirational Poetry, Lessons from the Wilderness: A devotional for those beginning the journey to write for publication, and Baileyisms: Inspirational Quips and Quotes for living the Christian life. She currently writes three blogd: Sharing the Word, Wisdom for mothers and a social commentary blog called Sharing my perspective.
Beside her first love of Bible-teaching, Jeaninne is passionate about helping aspiring authors answer the call to write for ministry and Christian publication. She accomplishes this by teaching workshops and seminars to help aspiring Christian authors learn how to write and publish for the Christian market. She also provides book coaching and consulting services to help aspiring Christian authors reach their publication goals.
Jeaninne is a graduate of the University of North Texas and Texas Christian University. Her future goals include completing a Masters in Theology degree at Dallas Baptist University. She and her husband James attend Concord Church in Dallas, Texas, where she has served for over thirty years in a number of roles which include serving as a Sunday School teacher, Orientation teacher, marital enrichment teacher and currently as a growth group leader. Jeaninne and her husband are the parents of two young adult children.
